What’s In A Number? Today I am 58…

I woke up at 9:15 this morning.  I already know nobody is home, so I laid in bed for a while.  At 9:40, I headed downstairs to an empty house and made myself a cup of coffee in total peace and quiet.  Today, I am 58.  What’s in a number, right?

Well, in this instance, there was a lot of living in those 58 years, and today – I revel in the glory.

It’s ok to come down to a quiet house.  I will always miss the days of constant commotion, but I have so much to celebrate.  God graced my world with five great kids and three of the sweetest, cutest grandkids ever, a large family of brothers, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and my Mom – the matriarch of a strong family.   I have extra children I love with all my heart and so many friends and framily with whom I have been blessed.

There are so many of you who I don’t know, who take the time to read my words.  The friends I have made through writing this that I hope to meet one day.

I have to take a minute as tears fill my eyes.  Okay, maybe two ….

Today, my heart is full.  So full, it’s going to explode.  All the people I have lost are sending me hugs from heaven, I feel it right now – maybe that’s what the tears are all about.  I feel so much, I love so much, and I appreciate so much.

Thank you, to each and every one of you who have graced my life.

Today, I am a glorious 58, and what’s in that number?  A lot of living, learning, and most importantly, loving.

Thank you, God, my cup runneth over.

Always in my heart and so much love to all,

Sandy
