How My Blog Started
As an almost empty nester, I was trying to figure out how I could give back to the world, help as many people as I can, and write my autobiography…thus my blog! You can read the very short synopsis of my life in the about me page. I have recently started an adventure into spreading a positive message by opening a store with 25% of proceeds going back to a charity. You can visit my store on Sunday with Sandy For a Cause.
Advice for the New Blogger
Don’t give up! There are many times when you feel defeated and want to stop, but if it is your passion, please stay with it! I have been there and cried a few times, but that is when I will get a message from somebody that makes me keep going.
It is great to ask for and listen to advice, but it doesn’t always pertain to you. Sometimes you have to go with your gut and in your own direction. Maybe yours will be the one everyone wants to follow.

Hi Susan! I apologize for not responding sooner but this comment went to “junk” mail and I am just seeing it. I am not going to lie, it wasn’t easy building a website and I had tech help. I use BlueHost as a home base and wordpress to write. They will also help with a step by step tutorial. While you are navigating this, start writing down stories or whatever you are looking to share!
