Feeling the love with another award - The Versatile Blogger Award! My nominees, a little bit about me and my thanks to Sarah from Sarah Cup of Tea.

Hello, my friends!  Here I am again, posting on a weekday but I was so kindly nominated for another award!  This one is the Versatile Blogger Award and I was so kindly nominated by Sarah from Sarah Cup of Tea.  Sarah writes about so many things like food, her mom, Autumn, makeup etc … she definitely deserves the award for being versatile.  I do so enjoy reading her stories!  Thank you, Sarah!

  1. Hi! Just saw this – you are the absolute best. I’m sorry I don’t keep up with this, but I so appreciate every recognition you have given me. Question – why do you make such a point not to read the news? I feel the exact same way because they only really cover dark topics that are just depressing. I wanted to be a journalist for a long time, but changed my mind for that reason. What about you?

    1. Hey – I don’t care if you don’t do it, I just want people to know I appreciate them. It also opens you up to more bloggers who are the ones that spread your blog and comment. I don’t watch the news or read it because it is so depressing! It’s murders or politics or civil war – I know it happens, but I don’t want all that negativity in my life. My way to combat it is try to do some good. I used to post a good news network story daily on my facebook page because that really makes you feel good. You can still be a journalist but be different. My daughter loves National Geographic! That would be fun journalism. A friend of mine and I were talking about doing a blog/newsletter that was local and all good news and heartwarming stories – bring light to the good stuff to drown out the bad. We never followed through. Be different, Bry!

  2. Thanks for the nomination, it means so much! I’ve been out of action the past month due to bad health but this is just the perfect thing I need to get writing again! Thank you!
