My Little Bubble …

Life is stressful enough, right? I consider myself to be a normal person. Typical girl with an interesting back story, a survivor of past circumstances, hard worker, life learner, mom of many … always trying to find a balance between three jobs, exercise, family, friends and also have some peace. Spread A Little Love Day

College Campus Racism – What’s Going On?

Since November 7th there have been a dozen incidents involving racism on or around the Syracuse University campus. The acts have been directed towards the African-American, Asian, and the Jewish population.

The Power of a Smile and Hug

Today on Twitter, somebody tagged me in a thread asking if I could pick a superpower, what would it be? That was easy for me … my power would be extraordinary hugs! What do I believe can solve most problems in the world? A smile and a hug.

Mom, Mother, Mama, Mommy, or Mum

This year, I went in a different direction. I am not a huge fan of Mother’s Day, and interestingly enough, so many people I spoke to aren’t either.
