My Tiny Miracle And A Message

Through all my thoughts at one, two and three in the morning, I cling to my rosaries and pray.  Jesus died for all to give us hope and let us know in life and in death, the beautiful miracle of everlasting love is always there no matter where we are in the world.  Just as anyone who passes away, is not too far away.

A Few Moments To Reflect

While growing up in the ’70s, the year 2000 seemed like science fiction and here it is 2023. The older you get, the more you realize those sci-fi books you read back in the day are more realistic fiction. It makes you wonder what’s to come but can’t dwell because you have to be in this moment of time.

As Joseph Alfred Riguzzi Turns 21

How could I NOT write about this milestone? I can’t … so out of semi-retirement, I come. Perhaps, out of my winter funk is more accurate, but whichever, this is all about Joseph Alfred Riguzzi, gifted to me by God on a beautiful Easter morning too many years ago.

The Noise and My New Year’s Wish

It’s been almost 3 months since I wrote a blog.  When I last checked in, I was sharing stories from our two-week adventure through the national parks and the amazing beauty of the country we live in.  I was almost done writing about my favorite hike when I stopped.

Welcome to Glacier National Park!

supposed to be a 12-hour drive, but it took 16. Because it was sooo long, I had my first attempt at taking the wheel. As luck would have it, this was about the time the wind started blowing furiously and stayed that way.

The Hike at Black Hills, South Dakota

So imagine waking in the morning and stepping outside with a cup of coffee in hand to see for the first time what you worked so hard for and dreamed of for years. It’s like opening the door to a surprise party, but with no noise, only the sounds of nature.

Happy Birthday, America!

Happy 4th of July!   Today we celebrate our freedoms as stated in the Declaration of Independence and the birth of this great nation we live in. Last year, I wrote extensively on the actual document, so there is no need to do that again. But I couldn’t let the day go by without saying Happy Birthday, America!

Just A Tired Mom With A Mother’s Day Wish

Happy Mother’s Day!  I have really missed keeping up and writing this blog, but this is one tired Mama. I have to be honest, working in a school all day is kicking my butt. By the time Saturday rolls around, my brain is too tired.
