Just A Tired Mom With A Mother’s Day Wish

Happy Mother’s Day!  I have really missed keeping up and writing this blog, but this is one tired Mama. I have to be honest, working in a school all day is kicking my butt. By the time Saturday rolls around, my brain is too tired.

Procrastination or Adult ADHD

It’s 8:15 am on Saturday morning … I am not a morning person. I had to set the alarm for 7:35 because Joe had to be on a trip by 8 am. Yeah, I don’t do early mornings, and he got there at 8:05. This girl is always 5 minutes late. My diagnosis: I suffer from procrastination with a little bit of Adult ADHD.

The Day I Learned Racism Existed

My daughters used to tell me I was naive because I was admittedly surprised by stories of blatant racism. Now, they are seen and heard everywhere on television and social media. I still don’t understand how it could even be going on in this day and age. But here we are – this country is at war.
