What is Love? Each of us has a different version because it isn’t the same for everyone. I know it isn’t easy. There are ups and downs like a roller coaster.The highs are high and the lows are low with a lot of curves in between. Sometimes the ride stops and you can take a deep breath while your heart rate comes back to normal.
I have recently been blessed twice by two of my blogging buddies and nominated for the Real Neat Blog Award. Both of my friends are amazing, strong women who write about their struggles.
It has been almost two years since I started this blog and the one thing I haven’t written about is being a Grandma! How could that be, when it is one of the highlights and greatest blessing of my life?
On New Year’s Eve, we rang in 2020 with smiles, laughter, Chinese food, and games. The next day, I attended a memorial for my nephew. Both were celebrations of life – a celebration embracing the good moments and bidding good riddance for the bad and a life cut short, but to be honored.
Last January, about two months after my nephew passed away, my mother, daughter, and I went to see a psychic medium. Yes, she talks to dead people, and I happen to believe in this phenomenon.
